The Jungle Shack provides great-quality beauty treatments made from natural, organic ingredients. Their brand is all about helping people to boost the vitality of dry, lifeless hair (even to overcome scalp conditions like psoriasis) – but never at the cost of the environment. The Jungle Shack asked us to design their packaging for these essential oil-based products and to convey that they’re:
Above all, we were asked to illustrate The Jungle Shack’s passion and love for the environment.
We started by tweaking their existing logo – carefully cutting out letters so that beautiful tropical imagery could shine through. Next, we chose background shades of green and purple to reflect the brand’s vibrant, passionate nature. Finally, we selected a narrow font… one that would fit an engaging product blurb across all sizes. All the necessary info, without the waffle!
Oh, and of course, we included all the information they asked us to in their brief, while letting the customer in on a few extra benefits of the product.
The winning combo of a simple (but stylish!) font, a clean layout and evocative imagery creates a natural, eco-friendly feel to the packaging – which also oozes sophistication and high-quality. Job done.
